The North American Rod & Gun Club was founded in 1939 and has the ability to have 1400 members, making it one of the oldest and largest sporting clubs in Washington County. The club is situated on almost 180 acres bordering Antietam Creek, just East of Hagerstown Maryland. The club is a member of the Washington County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs and the Washington County Clubs Association. While the club has open membership, a prospective member must be sponsored by at least two current members. The club maintains a highly qualified bar and kitchen staff. All bar tenders are TAMS trained. The club has an outside picnic pavilion that seats approximately 250 and an outside covered stage. The Club sponsors concerts throughout the summer.
